El presente trabajo describe los elementos, resultado de la investigación exploratoria que tiene como objetivo la identificación de áreas de oportunidad que deberán considerarse en la actualización del equipamiento didáctico del Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes, que permita a la comunidad académica, desarrollar un Perfil de Egreso, con Habilidades y Competencias Pertinentes. En la investigación, se analizan los perfiles de egreso en áreas de ingeniería industrial y mecánica, con su respectiva infraestructura en talleres y laboratorios; además de considerar las necesidades que el Sector Productivo exige en los profesionistas que se integran a sus filas. Dichos elementos permiten generar un planteamiento para el desarrollo de propuestas en la adecuación de perfiles de egreso y la infraestructura académica, mediante la Innovación en un Sistema de Manufactura Flexible con fines didácticos, en donde se integren elementos como, Células de Manufactura, Sistemas de Monitoreo y Control, el Análisis de la Sustentabilidad Energética, entre otros. Permitiendo el fortalecimiento de las habilidades y competencias pertinentes, que brindan la oportunidad para dar cumplimiento de los objetivos institucionales, en atención a las necesidades del sector productivo del estado de Aguascalientes y su región.

The present work describes the elements, the result of the exploratory research that aims to identify areas of opportunity that should be considered in the updating of the didactic equipment of the Technological Institute of Aguascalientes, which allows the academic community to develop an Exit Profile, with Relevant Skills and Competencies. In the research, the discharge profiles in areas of industrial and mechanical engineering are observed, with their respective infrastructure in workshops and laboratories; In addition to considering the needs that the Productive Sector requires in the professionals that are integrated into its ranks, identifying the needs in the future. These elements allow generating an approach for the development of proposals in the adaptation of graduation profiles and academic infrastructure, through Innovation in a Flexible Manufacturing System for didactic purposes, where elements such as Manufacturing Cells, Monitoring Systems are integrated. and Control, the Analysis of Energy Sustainability, among others. Allowing the strengthening of relevant skills and competencies, which provide the opportunity to fulfill the institutional objectives, in response to the needs of the productive sector of the state of Aguascalientes and its region.

Symbolic analysis of analog circuits containing voltage mirrors and current mirrors

The pathological elements voltage mirror (VM) and current mirror (CM) have shown advantages in analog behavioral modeling and circuit synthesis, where many nullor-mirror equivalences have been explored to design and to transform voltage-mode circuits to current-mode ones and viceversa. However, both the VM and CM have not equivalents to perform automatic symbolic circuit analysis. In this manner, we introduce nullor-equivalents for these pathological elements allowing to include parasitics and to perform only symbolic nodal analysis. The nullor-equivalent of the CM is extended to provide multiple- outpus (MO-CM). Finally, two active filters containing VMs, CMs and MO-CMs are analysed to show the usefulness of the models.

Generalized admittance matrix models of OTRAs and COAs

This paper proposes new admittance matrix models to approach the behavior of fully-differential Operational Transresistance Amplifiers (OTRAs) and Current Operational Amplifiers (COAs). The infinity-variables method is used in order to derive the new generalized models. As a consequence, standard nodal analysis being improved to compute fully-symbolic small-signal characteristics of fully-differential analog circuits.

Pathological element-based active device models and their application to symbolic analysis

This paper proposes new pathological element-based active device models which can be used in analysis tasks of linear(ized) analog circuits. Nullators and norators along with the voltage mirror-current mirror (VM-CM) pair (collectively known as pathological elements) are used to model the behavior of active devices in voltage-, current-, and mixed-mode, also considering parasitic elements. Since analog circuits are transformed to nullor-based equivalent circuits or VM-CM pairs or as a combination of both, standard nodal analysis can be used to formulate the admittance matrix. We present a formulation method in order to build the nodal admittance (NA) matrix of nullor-equivalent circuits, where the order of the matrix is given by the number of nodes minus the number of nullors. Since pathological elements are used to model the behavior of active devices, we introduce a more efficient formulation method in order to compute small-signal characteristics of pathological element-based equivalent circuits, where the order of the NA matrix is given by the number of nodes minus the number of pathological elements. Examples are discussed in order to illustrate the potential of the proposed pathological element-based active device models and the new formulation method in performing symbolic analysis of analog circuits. The improved formulation method is compared with traditional formulation methods, showing that the NA matrix is more compact and the generation of nonzero coefficients is reduced. As a consequence, the proposed formulation method is the most efficient one reported so far, since the CPU time and memory consumption is reduced when recursive determinant-expansion techniques are used to solve the NA matrix.

Continuous time chaotic oscillators have been implemented by using several commercially available electronic devices. In this study, the generic circuit topologies based on Operational Amplifier (OpAmp), Current-Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) and Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA), are summarized. These topologies allows an electronic designer to realize chaotic oscillators modeled with piecewise-linear functions, as it is shown herein by designing saturated function series.

Symbolic Analysis of OTRAs-Based Circuits

A new nullor-based model to describe the behavior of Operational Transresistance Amplifiers (OTRAs) is introduced. The new model is composed of four nullors and three grounded resistors. As a consequence, standard nodal analysis can be applied to compute fully-symbolic small-signal characteristics of OTRA-based analog circuits, and the nullorbased OTRAs model can be used in CAD tools. In this manner, the fully-symbolic transfer functions of several application circuits, such as filters and oscillators can easily be approximated.

New nullor-based models are introduced to describe the behavior of the first generation current conveyor (CCI), second generation current conveyor (CCII), third generation current conveyor (CCIII), their inverting equivalents (ICCI(II)(III)), and/or their multiple output topologies (MO(I)CCI(II)(III)). These nullor equivalents include only grounded resistors to improve the formulation of equations in symbolic nodal analysis. In this manner, it is highlighted the usefulness of the proposed models to calculate analytical expressions in MO(I)CCI(II)(III)-based analog circuits.

Chaotic communication system using Chua’s oscillators realized with CCII+s

This work shows the experimental implementation of a chaotic communication system based on two Chua’s oscillators which are synchronized by Hamiltonian forms and observer approach. The chaotic communication scheme is realized by using the commercially available positive-type second generation current conveyor (CCII+), which is included into the AD844 device. As a result, experimental measurements are provided to demonstrate the suitability of the CCII+ to implement chaotic communication systems.

Realization of multiscroll chaotic attractors by using current-feedback operational amplifiers

Multiscroll chaotic attractors are physically implemented by using commercially available current-feedback operational amplifiers (CFOAs). The values of the circuit elements are obtained systematically by a proposed technique based in the saturation of the CFOA to create Piece- Wise Linear (PWL) functions. Herein the technique is verified by Spice simulations and in experimental form by using CFOAs to generate n-scroll attractors in a systematic way. Lyapunov exponents are given to prove the chaotic behavior.

Se realiza la implementacion física de atractores caóticos de múltiples enrollamientos por medio del circuito comercial denominado amplificador operacional retroalimentado en corriente (CFOA). Los valores de los elementos del circuito son obtenidos sistemáticamente por medio de una técnica propuesta basada en la saturación del CFOA para generar funciones lineales a tramos (PWL functions). En este punto, la técnica es verificada por medio de simulaciones en Spice, así como de manera experimental utilizando CFOAs para generar atractores de n–enrollamientos de forma sistemática. Se presentan los exponentes de Lyapunov para corroborar el comportamiento caótico.

Synthesis of CCII-s by superimposing VFs and CFs through genetic operations

It is introduced a new genetic algorithm to synthesize the negative-type second generation current conveyor (CCII-) by superimposing a voltage follower (VF) with a current follower (CF). First, the VF and CF are described by binary genes. Second, the gene CF is inverted, rigth-shifted and multiplied (AND operation) with the gene VF to verify that both genes can be superimposed to synthesize the CCII-. Finally, some synthesized CCII-s are presented which electrical characteristics are measured using HSPICE and standard CMOS technology of 0.35 μm.
