Within the automotive industry, CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) analysis engineers are constantly challenged to reduce the mass and improve the design of the different systems of a car, including the chassis and the body structure made up of different structural members, one of them is the study part made of automotive grade aluminum on which a CAE optimization will be carried out using porous structures (Lattice Structures), the mathematical problem of optimization and its elements are discussed, later the three linear load cases and one linear dynamic such as the analysis of normal modes to which our structural member will be subjected during its CAE optimization process, 3 different optimization configurations are proposed and for each of them the results are discussed and the selection of one of them is justified, those optimizations based on their performance versus the original design and their corresponding mass savings as a final point, the objectives achieved are listed and the contribution of the thesis is communicated.
