Resumen o descripción
Crystals of glycine lithium nitrate with non-linear optical properties have bee grown in a solution by slow evaporation at room temperature. The crystal shows a good thermal stability from room t0emperature to 175 ◦C where the crystal begins to degrade. This property is desirable for future technological applications. Also, a good performance on the second harmonic generation was found, characterizing the emitted dominant wavelength by a customized indirect procedure using luminance and chromaticity measured data based on the CIE-1931 standard. Additionally, the 532 nm signal was detected by using a variant to the Kurtz and Perry method.
