This scheme is used as the internal loop to control the position of a model to use it as the reference for the physical motor.

This work also presents an inverse kinematic solution for the UR5 and algorithms to choose angles that do not lead to singularities. These algorithms can be used in independent joint control schemes such as the one proposed in this document."

El objetivo del proyecto es generar un sistema de alerta preventiva ante la inminencia de un desbordamiento en cauces para zonas urbanas que, a través de una red de sensores de nivel instalados en puntos estratégicos del cauce, la medición de la precipitación en la cuenca de aporte y el pronóstico del comportamiento de la misma, permita a las autoridades, cuerpos de emergencia y población en general conocer en tiempo real, a través de una aplicación para Smartphone, el comportamiento del nivel en dicho cauce (o cauces) que pudieran causar afectaciones a la comunidad y poner en riesgo la vida de los habitantes.

Dada la necesidad de proponer estrategias para evitar inundaciones causadas por la construcción de estructuras de cruce, se llevó a cabo un estudio experimental con modelos físicos para la caracterización del efecto del arrastre de sólidos (madera) en flujos a superficie libre, con estructuras de cruce en zonas urbanas. Esto con el objetivo de generar una metodología para establecer las propiedades de las estructuras de cruce ante el efecto de arrastre de sólidos, y así garantizar el correcto funcionamiento hidráulico. Específicamente, para determinar el claro o separación mínima entre pilas, con el cual se evite o reduzca la posibilidad de acumulación de material leñoso entre las mismas.

Este artículo es el segundo de dos partes que resumen las actividades y los estudios realizados durante la evaluación y el diseño del proceso de saneamiento del vaso Cencali, en el centro de Villahermosa, Tabasco, México. El estado hipereutrófico de este cuerpo de agua está constituido principalmente por la acumulación de una gran cantidad de sedimentos provenientes de escurrimientos urbanos y aguas residuales. Por lo tanto, se identificó la remoción de estos sedimentos como medida más urgente para el rescate del vaso. La ubicación del vaso, el reducido espacio disponible en zonas adyacentes, así como las características propias de los sedimentos, impidieron un diseño tradicional del proceso. Por ello se diseñó y adaptó un proceso que consiste en los componentes de dragado por bombeo, sedimentación, transporte y secado de los sedimentos. De acuerdo con el análisis de humedad de sedimentos y experimentos piloto de bombeo, la mezcla de agua-sedimento dragada tenía entre 65 y 85% de humedad, resultando en volúmenes a remover entre 50,400 m3 y 130,000 m3. Para controlar y reducir el volumen de sedimentos transportados y evitar tiempos y costos excesivos, se diseñó una tecnología de sedimentación en cuatro tanques flotantes-sumergibles colocadas en el vaso Cencali. Además, se propuso un concepto para el futuro mantenimiento del vaso, consistente en la combinación de procesos de sedimentación y dragado en una depresión topográfica construida dentro del vaso para este propósito.

A pre-pandemic study about recreational uses in the Mexico Park located at Mexico City (year 2017)

A recreational study was carried out through surveys in the Parque México in Mexico City. For this, the relationship between visit patterns with socioeconomic information, uses and perceptions of visitors with 18 years old or older was analyzed. This research uses descriptive statistics and a non-linear canonical correlation analysis to analyze relationships between variables. An ordered probit regression was also performed to determine the variables that explain the frequency of recreational use. It was obtained that the Park mainly receives visitors with at least bachelor's degree (78.6%) and high incomes (more than 50% have a monthly family income higher than $10,000.00 pesos and 27.6% receive more than $30,000.00 per month). Considering the results, the conclusions are that although the highest percentage of the studied population comes from neighborhoods outside the Roma-Condesa Corridor: then the visitors who live in the Corridor and who have higher incomes, have weight in the description of the model. The results allow to conclude too, that higher income increases the frequency of use. It is also observed that the park is used during the Monday to Friday by more than 50% of the population of visitors and with a high percentage of use in the mornings.

Surviving “Los Sures”: An anthropological reflection on the Nuyoricans lived experiences in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn and the current urban context of gentrification in New York City

The following article presents an anthropological and historical reflection on the Puerto Rican inner-city neighborhood better known as “Los Sures” in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City (nyc). The analysis will explore the contemporary academic discussion regarding the following concepts: poverty, the welfare State, the discourse surrounding welfare recipient’s culture, inner-city living conditions, and the current context of gentrification. Methodologically, the article presents an ethnographic reflection based on fieldwork experiences and interviews conducted on residents of the previous “Los Sures” and still living in nyc. Finally, we present a critical reflection on the poverty, welfare State policy, and shed light on the difficulties faced by Puerto Rican migrants and their struggle to preserve the Puerto Rican legacy in the now nyc and gentrified “Los Sures”.

The shift from a managerial to an entrepreneurial approach establishes a new form of urban governance based on a broader coalition of forces in which public-private partnerships have taken place. The Xoco-Mitikah urban conflict shows that the confluence of interests between the real estate and urban tourism industry embraces the common goal of designing an urban experience that makes the competitive advantages of Southern Mexico City profitable for both. Mitikah’s real estate marketing analysis showed that, through the promotion highlights of the South, the conflictive socio-territorial relationships that emerge along with the construction of real estate megaprojects are emotionally and affectively mediated.

Geospatial analysis of the distribution of empty spaces located in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas

Reflect about urban empty spaces means looking around all these lots that are distributed in different geographical points of the cities and are characterized because they are still waiting to be built, therefore, they are vacant, and also these spaces are empty in the sense of not provide any function. In this sense, the objective of this article is to present a methodological proposal specially designed to study this type of urban elements from the particular point of view of urban geography and spatial analysis. Specifically, through a series of surveys, both digital and physical, the various urban voids located in the city of Nuevo Laredo were recorded, thereby creating a database that included a total of 3,836 case studies. In this way, using different types of statistical techniques and spatial models, it was possible to obtain and interpret the results, managing to identify exactly what were the main patterns and characteristics of said geographic distribution.
