The topic of this investigation work “The interaction of the concrete reinforced in the structural behavior of historical buildings, before the seismic effect. (Case: Valladolid- Morelia. XVIII-XX centuries)”, it obeys the idea that the engineer structures of the present time, in general terms has intruded little in the study of the structural behavior of this type of buildings of historical value, as well as of his constructive techniques very peculiar of these. The structural and seismic engineering in the built architectural historical patrimony has had until the moment little holding in the architecture inside the field of the restoration of historical buildings, being that this discipline can contribute a substantial part to the preservation of the built historical patrimony that allows to achieve with the constructive technology a structural security in the face of the seismic eventualities, achieving the conservation of the historical-architectural patrimony therewith. This investigation work has as purpose, to explain the paper of the structural engineering and the interaction that she has had the concrete armed in the built historical architecture, fear that it has been generally approached by specialists in restoration, with qualitative focuses and with little attention to the contemporary techniques of analysis and evaluation as for the structural security of the historical buildings. The focus of this investigation is also more conceptual than technical, and more explanatory of the advantages and limitations of the procedures that of the modalities of application of the same ones. It contains examples that illustrate the structural problem of some historical buildings and the way in that you have behaved structurally before the seismic effect. The conservation of the historical buildings is a complex and necessarily multidisciplinary activity, since it requires the experience of architects, historians, restoring architects and, in some cases, the participation of specialists in structural and seismic engineering, geotechnics, among others.
El tema de este trabajo de investigación “La interacción del concreto reforzado en el comportamiento estructural de edificios históricos, ante el efecto sísmico. (Caso: Valladolid-Morelia. Siglos XVIII-XX)”, obedece a la idea de que el ingeniero estructurista de la actualidad, en términos generales ha incursionado poco en el estudio del comportamiento estructural de éste tipo de edificios de valor histórico, así como de sus técnicas constructivas muy particulares de éstos. La ingeniería estructural y sísmica en el patrimonio histórico arquitectónico edificado ha tenido hasta el momento poca participación en la arquitectura dentro del campo de la restauración de edificios históricos, siendo que esta disciplina puede aportar una parte sustancial a la preservación del patrimonio histórico edificado, que permita lograr con la tecnología constructiva una seguridad estructural ante las eventualidades sísmicas, logrando con esto la conservación del patrimonio histórico-arquitectónico. Este trabajo de investigación tiene como propósito, explicar el papel de la ingeniería estructural y la interacción que ha tenido el concreto armado en la arquitectura histórica edificada, tema que ha sido generalmente abordado por especialistas en restauración, con enfoques cualitativos y con poca atención a las técnicas contemporáneas de análisis y evaluación en cuanto a la seguridad estructural de los edificios históricos. Además, el enfoque de esta investigación es más conceptual que técnico, y más explicativo de las ventajas y limitaciones de los procedimientos que de las modalidades de aplicación de los mismos. Contiene ejemplos que ilustran la problemática estructural de algunos edificios históricos y la manera en que se han comportado estructuralmente ante el efecto sísmico. La conservación de los edificios históricos es una actividad compleja y necesariamente multidisciplinaria, ya que requiere la experiencia de arquitectos, historiadores, arquitectos restauradores y, en algunos casos, la participación de especialistas en ingeniería estructural y sísmica, geotecnia, entre otras.
