_______________ THE CONSUMER FACED TO CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) INITIATIVES. The study was conducted in the State of Mexico. The results indicate that consumers are not indifferent in the decision to purchase products or services with attributes of CSR, particularly, female consumers. The variables educational level and consumer preferences were statistically significant to explain the purchase decision. With respect to the business side, the study was carried out with the companies that hold the ESR® badge. A survey was carried out to identify the variables that make the companies continue to renew the Brand and it was found that the variables years and quality of life are the most statisti cally significant.
