La finalidad de la presente investigación fue evaluar la incubabilidad del huevo de gallina criolla y la respuesta productiva y morfológica de la progenie alimentada con dos niveles de fibra en la dieta. Se realizaron dos ensayos de incubación-eclosión-crecimiento de pollitos criollos. En incubabilidad se determinó el peso (Ph), índice morfológico (IM), fertilidad (Fe), eclosión del huevo (Ec) y peso al nacimiento del pollito (Pn); Posteriormente, se seleccionaron aleatoriamente y se distribuyeron en lotes de 10. A partir de la segunda semana y por un periodo de 56 días, se ofreció dos dietas experimentales con niveles de 4 y 8 % de fibra. Se evaluaron el variable peso vivo (Pv), consumo de alimento (CAD), ganancia diaria de peso (GDP) y conversión alimenticia (CA); zoométricamente se midió el perímetro torácico (Pt), longitud dorsal (Ld), longitud de muslo (Lm), longitud de pierna (Pp), longitud de pernil (Lpe), perímetro de pierna (Pp), longitud de ala (Al), longitud de caña (Lc). El diseño utilizado fue completamente al azar con mediciones repetidas semanales. En incubación se observó diferencia (P<0.05) en Fe (71.2 vs 90.1 %), Ec (51.9 vs 72.0 %) y Pn (36.8 vs 39.2 g). Analizando por contenido de fibra, se encontró diferencia (P<0.05) en CAD con 34.4 g (T4) y 35.9 g (T8), sin alguna diferencia (P>0.05) en Pv, CA, GDP. En mediciones zoometrícas el periodo 1 fue superior (P<0.0001). _______________ INCUBABILITY OF CREOLE HEN´S EGG (Gallus domesticus L.) AND RESPONSE OF IT´S PROGENY TO DIETS WITH TWO LEVELS OF FIBER IN THE REGION OF SOTAVENTO VERACRUZANO. ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research was to evaluate the hatchability of eggs of Creole hens and the productive and morphological response of the progeny fed with two levels of fiber in the diet. Two trails of incubation-hatching- growth of creole eggs and chicks were carried out. For incubation egg weight (Ph), morphological index (IM), fertility (Fe), hatching from the egg (Ec) and weight at birth (Pn) were determined; subsequently, the chickens were randomly selected and distributed in batches of 10. From the second week and through a period of 56 days, two experimental diets containing levels of 4% and 8% of fiber were offered. We assessed the variables live weight (Pv), feed intake (CAD), average daily gain (GDP) and feed conversion (CA); for zoometrics the thoracic perimeter (Pt), dorsal length (Ld), length of thigh (Lm), length of leg (Pp) length of upper leg (Lpe), perimeter of leg (Pp), wing length (Al), length of shank (Lc) were measured. The design was completely randomized with week repeated measures. In incubation differences were observed (P<0.05) in Fe (71.2 vs 90.1%), Ec (51.9 vs 72.0%) and Pn (36.8 vs. 39.2 g). Analyzing by fiber content, difference was found (P<0.05) in CAD with 34.4 g (T4) and 35.9 g (T8), without any difference (P>0.05) in Pv, CA, GDP. In zoometric measures, period 1 was superior (P<0.0001).
