Hoy en día, los defectos óseos representan uno de los casos de mayor impacto en la salud debido a la frecuencia con que éstos ocurren a causa de traumatismos, fracturas, enfermedades congénitas o degenerativas. En la actualidad, los implantes de tejido óseo de gran volumen se encuentran severamente restringidos a causa de las limitaciones de difusión en la interacción con el ambiente del huésped para los nutrientes, intercambio gaseoso y eliminación de desechos. Es por ello que la corrección de los defectos óseos ha cobrado gran importancia en el área de Ingeniería tisular buscando mejorar las estrategias clínicas para su tratamiento. El propósito de esta revisión es proporcionar un panorama general del desarrollo de andamios para la regeneración de tejido óseo, mostrando los avances logrados en los ensayos in vitro e in vivo en la última década

Currently, bone defects cases represent a major impact on health due to how often they occur because of trauma, fractures, congenital or degenerative diseases. Now, bone implants to large volume are severely restricted because of the diffusion limitations in the interaction

with the environment of the host for nutrients, gas exchange and waste disposal. That is why the correction of bone defects has become very important in the field of tissue engineering looking to improve clinical strategies for treatment. The purpose of this review is to provide an overview of the development of scaffolds for bone tissue regeneration, showing the progress made in the in vitro and in vivo in recent decades.

La tesis busca trabajar sobre el concepto de política a partir de las aportaciones hechas al respecto por el profesor emérito de la Universidad Autónoma de México Bolívar Echeverría Andrade. Partiendo de los elementos que consideramos constituyen su crítica a lo político en la modernidad capitalista, el trabajo empieza por explorar las condiciones de necesidad para la existencia del fenómeno político en relación con la definición del ser del hombre desde el materialismo histórico y el existencialismo sartreano. En la segunda parte se profundiza en la crítica echeverríana a lo político a partir del análisis de las consecuencias que la actualización moderno capitalista tiene sobre el ejercicio de la autarquía humana y el trabajo útil.

Urban stories and representations in the cultural memory of the Main Square of Tunja, Colombia

The relations between history and memory in the urban space inherited from the Main Square of Tunja, Colombia, are questioned during the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century, and the monumental, urban and architectural representations related to the processes of independence and revolution that impacted on the foundation of the Colombian state. The model of inquiry is inductive and qualitative, and involved the integration of historical and historiographical sources that were subjected to processes of analysis, reflection, and explanatory synthesis. As a result of this work, the narratives of the changes and prevalences that characterize the urban heritage of this foundational environment decisive for the understanding of urban and cultural history in Colombia are presented.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the politics around privatizations in the left-wing government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (Amlo). The aim is to identify the ideational mark and the possible breaks or continuities of the infrastructure policy in a global context characterized by the promotion of the Public-Private Parnerships (ppps) -as a modality of the privatization of public goods and services-. It is argued that the ideas around the State in the current administration do not approve the participation of the private sector in the prison, and hospital sectors, freezing, to some extent, the privatization inertia promoted since the 1980s. We concluded that despite its open opposition, the Amlo government has had to use ppps in sectors such as road, energy infraestructure, and transport, due to budget restrictions that will be aggravated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Availability and demand are essential aspects for the human being when planning is made to provide water to the different sectors that may have need of it; still, the demand of suitable volume of water increases day by day, while the supply decreases gradually. In this inverse relationship, anthropogenic and environmental dynamics are decisive to guarantee the needs of the population, specifically due to the climatic transformations evidenced in recent decades. Throughout history, the state of Zacatecas has suffered the ravages of extreme environmental events, mainly those related to drought. Likewise, but on a lesser extent, severe floods have occurred that have caused socioeconomic damage. In this work, the climatic variations of temperature and precipitation and their influence on the evolution of hydraulic systems for the supply of drinking water in the municipality of Nochistlán de Mejía, Zacatecas are analyzed during the period 1930-2015.

Este trabajo reconstruye la historia del Plano General de indicación de la Ciudad de México. Con la nueva división de los cuarteles y nomenclatura de las calles de 1886. Examina la imagen que estampa de la capital y cuestiona el aura de objetividad cartográfica. Los estudios sobre mapas abundan cada vez más, pese a eso aún es frecuente que ocupen un lugar secundario. Con base en el método de análisis de la cartografía crítica, propuesta por J. B. Harley (2005), ofrecemos una interpretación del plano de 1886 para referir la autoría, los propósitos, la imagen que proyecta de la Ciudad de México y la relación entre dichos aspectos. Los planos son fuentes documentales de carácter visual que arrojan luz sobre la época para la cual sirvieron. Un acercamiento cuidadoso nos lleva a comprender los ideales de los que participaba.
