Gestión laboral: un análisis de la capacitación y su impacto en la productividad. Caso Central Termoeléctrica de Ciclo Combinado

El sector energético es pieza fundamental para el desarrollo y futuro de nuestro país, tanto para el desarrollo industrial como para la población en general; en esa medida las Centrales Termoeléctricas de Ciclo Combinado (CTCC) como parte de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad reconocida como una de las mayores empresas eléctricas del mundo, contribuyen a que este sector se fortalezca impulsando la edificación de un México más competitivo. El objetivo de esta investigación es conocer en qué grado impacta la capacitación del capital humano en la productividad en una las 83 CTCC que operan en México. La metodología para este trabajo es de carácter cuantitativo y de tipo correlacional. El instrumento de medición que se utilizó para la recolección de información corresponde a un cuestionario compuesto por 19 Ítems representados por dos variables: productividad y capacitación. Las respuestas se valoraron mediante la escala Likert. La variable capacitación se estudia con base en el modelo de kirkpatrick, por su parte la variable productividad se trabaja mediante el modelo de Lawlor. El instrumento se aplicó a una muestra de 104 elementos garantizando su fiabilidad mediante una prueba de Alpha de Cronbach (R = .9809). Los resultados permiten reconocer que la formación del capital humano mediante los procesos de capacitación tiene un impacto favorable en el desempeño y nivel de productividad en la CTCC seleccionada, se observan limitaciones en lo correspondiente a la cultura laboral, se distingue que la nueva estructura organizacional con motivo de la transición de empresa paraestatal a Empresa Productiva del Estado impulsa el cumplimiento de indicadores de desempeño lo que se ve reflejado en la productividad organizacional.

The energy sector is cornerstone for the development and future of our country, both for industrial development and the population in general; on that extent the Centrales Termoeléctricas de Ciclo Combinado (CTCC) as part of the Comisión Federal de Electricidad recognized as one of the largest electricity companies in the world, they contribute to this sector be strengthened promoting the building of a more competitive Mexico. The objective of this research is to know the impact of training human capital on productivity about one of the 83 CTCC that operate in México. The methodological strategy is quantitative and correlation type. The measurement instrument used for the collection of information is a questionnaire composed by 19 items represented by two variables: productivity and training. The responses were evaluated using the Likert score. The variable training is studied based on the Kirkpatrick model, while the variable productivity works using the model of Lawlor. The instrument was applied to a sample of 104 items ensuring their reliability using Cronbach´s Alpha test (R=.9809). The results allow to recognize that human capital formation through the processes of training has a favourable impact on the performance and level of productivity in the selected CTCC, there are limitations in the corresponding to the work culture, stands that the new organizacional structure with motive of the transition from State owned company to productive state company promotes the implementation of compliance with performance indicators what is reflected in the organizational productivity.

Training of human capital in health and social representations: case study in hospitals of 2° level of the area east of the state of Mexico

The focus of this work is to analyze from a medical perspective the multiple aspects that guide the criteria that assumes the training of health professionals. This research is based on the theory of social representations; this theory is referred to an epistemology of the sense common, which allows to interpret the reality-the knowledge every day, product of social interactions. Within this theoretical framework, it worked with the approach process, which focuses on the content of the representation in terms of its meaning and significance. It was a descriptive study, qualitative, cross-not experimental, with interviews semistructured with three axes categorical (training, bonding and regulation). The sample was obtained in a manner not probabilistic, they interviewed 12 subject, six heads of teaching and six medical in training attached to the institutions that agreed to participate in the research. From the crossroads of knowledge, the experiences and opinions of education managers and doctors in training, is develop that the training of the professional of the health still framed in the paradigm positivist (hegemonic biomedical). Of this form is evidence a worldview in the training of the medical and an approach to this reality training, that allows carry to the reflection all those aspects forgotten that dan by made a conformation infinite and dogmatic of medical and thus, placed in the context to the actors main (universities, institutions of health, decision makers of decisions, executing or responsible of the training).

This is part of a larger study onmonitoring of graduates in the specialty and Computer Technologies Applied to Education (ETIAE). The aim is to investigate the level of training acquired and brought value ETIAE program, to make decisions and provide feedback on the educational offer. The parametric methodology is not descriptive, the training received was analyzed, expectations and program quality through Ji2 independence test with SPSS.The results indicate that there is dependence forming contrast, expectations and quality of program variables teaching-learning process, likewise the hypothesis and its relationship with these aspects are found. With information from research, it has formed database for the evaluation of the program by national agencies.

El presente es parte de un estudio más amplio sobre seguimiento de egresados en la Especialidad en Tecnologías en Informáticas Aplicadas a la Educación (ETIAE). El objetivo es investigar el nivel de formación adquirida y el valor aportado del programa de ETIAE, para tomar decisiones y retroalimentar la oferta educativa. La metodología es descriptiva no paramétrica, se analizó la formación adquirida, las expectativas y la calidad del programa con las variables del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, así mismo, se comprobó la hipótesis y su vinculación con esos aspectos. Con la información de la investigación, se ha confirmado una base de datos para la evaluación del programa por parte de organismos nacionales.

En México, las políticas de fomento a la agricultura afectan positiva y negativamente al patrimonio cultural, ambiental y económico de los productores. En este sentido, el objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar los retos y oportunidades que presentan los productores de maíz en un municipio rurubano del Estado de México. Se empleó un planteamiento metodológico mixto basado en los principios del desarrollo territorial, herramientas para el análisis de redes sociales, aplicación de cuestionarios, entrevistas y talleres participativos. Las evidencias encontradas muestran que, en Chiautla, Estado de México, existe una disminución y polarización de la producción de maíz. El crecimiento de la mancha urbana y el abandono del campo se encuentran asociados a la baja rentabilidad y desinterés de las nuevas generaciones por involucrarse en esta actividad productiva. Los subsidios y apoyos gubernamentales para incentivar la producción juegan un papel determinante en la conservación y modificación de las dinámicas territoriales de las comunidades donde aún se realiza esta actividad.

The objective of this work was to analyze the challenges and opportunities encountered by maize producers in a municipality in the State of Mexico. A mixed methodological approach was used including principles of territorial development, tools for the analysis of social networks, application

of questionnaires, interviews, and participatory workshops. The results show that, in Chiautla, State of Mexico, there is a decrease and polarization of maize production. The growth of urbanization and the abandonment of cropland are associated with the low profitability and the poor interest of the young people for being involved in this productive activity. Government subsidies and support to boost maize production play a decisive role in the conservation and modification of territorial dynamics in communities where this activity is carried out.

Desarrollo rural y extensionismo en el oriente del Estado de México.

El trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar el perfil del Prestador de Servicios Profesionales (PSP) dedicado a la extensión y su universo de actuación, considerando sus funciones, problemas, necesidades de capacitación y competencias para contribuir al desarrollo de estrategias que fortalezcan el sistema de extensión en la región Oriente del Estado de México. En el sistema de extensión actual, los Prestadores de Servicios Profesionales (PSP) son agentes clave para el desarrollo rural, su función es la divulgación y transferencia de conocimiento agrícola al campo para hacerlo más productivo y mejorar las condiciones de vida de productores rurales. La extensión es considerada instrumento de política pública nacional e internacional al hacer frente a grandes retos presentados en el sector. Por esta situación, se plantea la importancia de acciones en materia de capacitación, investigación, asistencia técnica y transferencia de tecnología. Actualmente, la demanda de servicios de extensión se integra con dos tipos de profesionales: extensionistas públicos (contratados por el gobierno) y privados (despachos de asesoría). Se empleó una metodología mixta (cualitativa y cuantitativa), los datos se obtuvieron a través de observación de campo y un cuestionario aplicado a PSP públicos y privados analizado con el software Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) mediante estadísticos descriptivos, correlaciones y pruebas no paramétricas. Los resultados muestran un perfil de extensionistas con experiencia, alto nivel académico y formaciones en ciencias agrícolas, las actividades realizadas dependen del tipo de extensionista (público y privado), principales problemáticas son de tipo político-institucional, ambos grupos están interesados en la capacitación continua y desarrollo de competencias. _______________ RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND EXTENSIONISM IN THE EAST OF THE STATE OF MEXICO. ABSTRACT: The objective of this study is to analyze the Professional Services Provider (PSP) profile dedicated to agricultural extension and his operation universe, considering his functions, his problems, his training needs and his competences to contribute to the development of strategies that strengthen the agricultural extension in the eastern portion of the State of Mexico. In the actual agricultural extension system, professional services providers are key agents for rural development, their function is the divulgation and transference of agriculture knowledge to the agricultural field in order to enhance productivity and improve living conditions of farmers. The agricultural extension is considered a national and international public policy instrument to confront the great challenges of the rural sector. Due to this situation, important activities are needed in the field of education, research, technical assistance and technology transfer. These days, the demand for agricultural extension services are satisfied by two types of professionals: public (that work for the government) and private (that work in advisory offices). The study methodology used a mix of qualitative and quantitative approaches, the data were collected through participant observation and a questionnaire applied to public and private extension agents. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) software through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and non-parametric tests. The results obtained showed the existence of experienced extension agents, high academic levels and training in the agricultural sciences. The activities carried out by extension agents vary according to their type (public or private) and problems faced by both groups were politico-institucional. Also, both groups were interested in continuous updating and the development of technical skills.

Quantifying the impact of weather extremes on global food security: A spatial bio-economic approach

This study uses a spatial bio-economic modelling framework to estimate the impact of the 2012 weather extreme in the usa on food security in the developing world. The study also quantifies the potential effects of a similar weather extreme occurring in 2050 under climate change. The study results indicate that weather extremes that affect maize productivity in key grain baskets can negatively affect food security in vulnerable countries. The 2012 weather extreme which occurred in the usa reduced us and global maize production by 29% compared to trend; maize consumption in the country decreased by 5% only and this resulted in less surplus maize for exports from the largest maize exporter in the world. Global maize production decreased by 6% compared to trend. The decrease in global maize production coupled with a reduction in the volume of global maize exports worsened food insecurity in eastern africa, the caribbean and central america and india. The effects of the weather extreme on global food security would be worse, if the latter were to occur under climate change in 2050, assuming no climate change adaptation worldwide over the years. In addition, the hardest-hit regions would remain the same, whether the weather extreme occurs in 2012 instead of 2050: sub-saharan africa (ssa), south asia and the latin america and caribbean (lac) region. However, sustained growth in per capita income across world economies between 2000 and 2050 would allow few countries in ssa and the lac region to virtually eliminate hunger within their borders. In these countries, per capita income would be high enough by 2050 to completely offset the negative effect of the weather extreme. The study results are also consistent with usda׳s estimates on us and global maize production and consumption in 2012 after the weather extreme. Some discrepancy is found on the volume of global maize trade; this implies that the bio-economic model likely overestimates the effect of the weather extreme on food insecurity. However, the trends from the analysis are likely to be valid. Further research would involve using a cge model that can capture the net effects of weather extremes.

FORMACIÓN Y CAPACITACIÓN DOCENTE EN LAS INSTITUCIONES DE EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR Y EL IMPACTO EN LA CALIDAD EDUCATIVA

The present work shows the results of a research carried out in institutions of higher education of the state of Nayarit with specialty in Tourism, with the purpose of identifying the transcendental influence in the training and teacher training. An exploratory and correlational research was carried out. The teachers' opinion is analyzed to obtain the information of the strategies and the didactic activities that the teachers use. A questionnaire was applied through the technique of the interview, structured around ten fundamental questions, oriented to the production of changes in the practice of teaching and in the areas in which they are produced and the characteristics of the same. Teacher education and training must be conceived as a permanent process that promotes the best performance, obtain a personal and professional development that may be linked to the growth of the educational institution, and thereby improve the teaching process, where technical students are generated With a positive projection in the region through the medium of a quality education. The training and teacher training is increasingly necessary and indispensable to face the competition and complexity of the current era.

El presente trabajo muestra los resultados de una investigación que se realizó en instituciones de educación superior del estado de Nayarit con especialidad en Turismo, con el propósito de identificar la influencia trascendental en la formación y capacitación docente. Para ello se realizó una investigación de tipo exploratorio y correlacional. Se analizó la opinión de treinta maestros para obtener la información de estrategias y actividades didácticas que los docentes emplean. Se aplicó un cuestionario mediante la técnica de entrevista a docentes, estructurado en torno a diez preguntas fundamentales, orientadas a indagar la producción de cambios en la práctica de la enseñanza y en los ámbitos en que estos se producían y las características de los mismos. La formación y capacitación docente debe de ser concebida como un proceso permanente que promueva mejorar su desempeño, obtener un desarrollo personal y profesional que pueda estar ligado al crecimiento de la institución educativa, y con ello mejorar el proceso enseñanzaaprendizaje, donde se generan alumnos competentes con una proyección positiva en la región por medio de una educación de calidad.La formación y capacitación docente es cada vez más necesaria e indispensable para hacerle frente a la competencia y complejidad de la época actual.

La capacitación en Sociedades Cooperativas Agropecuarias Estudio de caso: Mixquic, Delegación Tláhuac Distrito Federal

Mixquic es uno de los pocos poblados que aún prevalecen en el Distrito Federal con características rurales, tanto a nivel federal como del Gobierno del Distrito Federal (GDF) existen leyes, reglamentos e instituciones cuya observancia establece el apoyo a sociedades cooperativas y su capacitación. Se seleccionó este poblado con el propósito de conocer cuál es el nivel de organización de las sociedades cooperativas agropecuarias y cómo es el proceso de capacitación que se efectúa en las mismas. Delegacionalmente se tienen registradas 35 sociedades cooperativas agropecuarias y la investigación se dirige a las variables de sociedades cooperativas y capacitación, cuya medición contiene los aspectos de: información general de las sociedades cooperativas; tipos de financiamiento, capacitación y asistencia técnica delegacional durante el período 2007 - 2010. Se encontró que de las 35 Sociedades Cooperativas registradas por la Unidad Departamental de Fomento Cooperativo, sólo 29 se dedican a la rama agropecuaria y de éstas solo 2 están activas y 27 inactivas. En el proceso de capacitación se observó que no se lleva a cabo el ciclo completo ya que no existía (antes de esta investigación) un diagnóstico de necesidades; la planeación, evaluación y seguimiento se han realizado sin que los productores participen en las fases del proceso. _______________ TRAINING IN AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES. CASE STUDY: Mixquic, FEDERAL DISTRICT. ABSTRACT: Mixquic is one of the few towns that still prevail in the Federal District with rural characteristics, both federal and Federal District Government (GDF) have laws, regulations and institutions which compliance provides support for cooperatives and training. This village was selected in order to know what level of organization of agricultural cooperatives and how the training process that takes place in them. Delegational have been registered 35 agricultural cooperatives and research addresses the variables of cooperative societies and training, which contains aspects of measurement: an overview of the cooperative societies, types of financing, training and technical assistance delegational during the period 2007 - 2010. It was found that the 35 Cooperative Societies registered by the Department of Cooperative Development Unit, only 29 are devoted to the agricultural branch and of these only 2 are active and 27 inactive. In the training process was observed not performing the full cycle since there was (before this investigation) a needs assessment, planning, evaluation and monitoring have been made without the producers involved in the phases of the process .
