Within the framework of philosophy and its social function, structural violence against children in Chihuahua is studied; To approach the phenomenon and propose alternatives, three theories will be related: i) feminist studies regarding violence, concepts such as intersectionality, pedagogies of cruelty and structural violence will be used, ii) the philosophy of children's rights, child´s play will be appreciated as a necessity and legal position of freedom, and iii) the event of the Aufklärung, that is, the assimilation of the present of humanity or the Enlightenment in Foucault's thought.

El objetivo del presente trabajo fue el diseñar un sistema de desalación de fácil instalación y poco mantenimiento, que utilice energía solar para este propósito, pensado para comunidades rurales a nivel familiar y obtener 10 litros del agua potable al día. Los reactores evaluados fueron: un destilador tubular solar (DTS) modificado, un concentrador solar parabólico (CPC) con un DTS acoplado y un destilador convencional de escalera.

La lepra es una enfermedad que hasta el día de hoy continúa entre nosotros, irrumpe en la vida de las personas transformando su existencia de manera significativa, pues en cada una ellas delinean marcas que trascienden en el cuerpo, en las relaciones, en lo que hacen y en lo que piensan. Pero, sobre todo, cuando los individuos son identificados como “enfermos de lepra”, de entrada, quedan sujetos a los significados que anteceden a este padecimiento y que, generalmente, están vinculados con las expresiones de horror y miedo debido a la deformidad, la putrefacción, la discapacidad y el contagio que puede causar. De este modo, formular que el “enfermo de lepra” es objeto del dolor, las transformaciones en el cuerpo, los señalamientos, las exclusiones… son percepciones que, prácticamente, pueden vislumbrarse de antemano. Sin embargo, me interesa ir más allá de lo que hasta ahora se tiene por sentado en relación con el “enfermo de lepra”, e incluso la forma en la que puede ser problematizado.

Solar and geothermal energies are considered cleaner and more useful energy sources that can be used to avoid the negative environmental impacts caused by burning fossil fuels. Several works have reported air-conditioning systems that use solar energy coupled to geothermal renewable energy as a thermal source. In this study, an Absorption Air-Conditioning System (AACS) used sodium hydroxide-water (NaOH-H2O) instead of lithium bromide-water to reduce the cost. Low enthalpy geothermal heat was derived from two shallow wells, 50 and 55 m deep. These wells are of interest due to the thermal recovery (temperature vs. time) of 56.2 _C that was possible at the maximum depth, which can be used for the first stage of the process. These wells were coupled with solar energy as a geothermal energy application for direct uses such as air-conditioning systems. We studied the performance of an absorption cooling system operating with a NaOH-H2O mixture and using a parabolic trough plant coupled with a low enthalpy geothermal heat system as a hybrid heat source, as an alternative process that can help reduce operating costs and carbon dioxide emissions.

COVID-19 and family participation in school activities.: Teaching experiences around the Learn at Home program

The article analyzes, from the qualitative method, the participation of families and teaching staff of the first cycle of primary education in the state of Chihuahua (Mexico) to carry out the various activities of the Learn at Home program implemented in March 2020 as a response to the resulting health confinement by COVID-19. It is concluded that the participation of families in school emergency situations implies improving the relationship between teachers, families, and the community in the implementation processes of educational programs with greater support to organize study times, take advantage of the different cultural capitals and promote family co-responsibility.
