The purpose of the article is to show a qualitative approach to the opinion of the militancy on decision¿making inside the National Regeneration Movement (Morena). Hence, the paper accounts for an actor, of whom little evidence has been provided, in the studies on intra¿democracy: the militant. In that sense, the questions that guided the research were: Who makes the major decisions with in Morena? What role do the militants have when it comes to selecting leaders and candidates? What does the militant think about the way in which are made with in the party? By conducting in¿depth interviews and document analysis, the main findings show the concentration of power in Morena, both statutory level and in the partisan reality. Coupled with an active and dissatisfied militancy, but at the same time justifies the concentration of power in Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Este capítulo tiene como propósito analizar las elecciones concurrentes de 2018 en el estado de Guerrero. En esta jornada electoral se eligieron, en el ámbito local, 80 presidencias municipales y 46 diputaciones para conformar la LXII Legislatura (2018-2021), de las cuales 28 fueron de mayoría relativa y 18 de representación proporcional; y en el ámbito federal la ciudadanía guerrerense votó por Presidencia de la República, tres senadurías y nueve diputaciones federales de mayoría relativa.

Como en todo el país, el escenario en el sistema político electoral guerrerense cambió con la presencia de Morena, un partido que pasó de una posición marginal en la elección local de 2015 a ser la primera fuerza electoral en el Poder Legislativo local. En tanto que los partidos mayoritarios tradicionales, el Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) y el Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD) fueron desplazados de importantes espacios de poder en la entidad.

Local markets and food security. The case of the Milpera and Puuc regions in Yucatan

Food insecurity is a complex problem worldwide. A major part of this problem is the food supply. Local markets can represent a strategy for building social capital, as well as strategies for subsistence and sustainability of food value chains, contributing to food security and its effects. The objective of this research is to determine if the existence of a municipal market in the Milpera and Puuc regions of Yucatán favors the existence of food security, the consumption or the expense of natural foods. The population is located in 18 municipalities of Yucatán, Mexico. To carry out this study, a cross-sectional, non-experimental study, with a quantitative approach and correlational scope. The main techniques that were applied were descriptive statistics and contingency tables with respect to 6 hypotheses. This work shows that the existence of markets in the communities makes a significant difference because it positively impacts the food security of the inhabitants, since it allows them to have access to a wider variety of products and at the same time, favors the active dynamics of the economy of the community.

Regulación de los servicios de agua potable y saneamiento en México

En este trabajo se analizó la condición actual de los organismos operadores y los servicios de abastecimiento de agua potable y saneamiento que se proveen en México. De acuerdo con el INEGI, solamente el 18.4% de viviendas, a nivel nacional, cuenta con agua entubada dentro de la vivienda, alcantarillado a red pública, suministro diario de agua y no tienen equipamiento de tinacos o cisternas para almacenar agua. Es decir, el 71.6% de las viviendas restantes cuentan con tandeos en el suministro, falta de presión en la red o sistemas de recolección de aguas residuales, distintas a la red pública. La propuesta de diseño de un sistema regulatorio, a nivel nacional, que se presenta en este trabajo, ilustra y ejemplifica las diferentes etapas que deben ser consideradas y analizadas cuidadosamente a través de un ente regulador estatal, con autonomía e imparcialidad para ejercer una política que establezca un conjunto de controles e incentivos a los organismos operadores municipales, tomando en cuenta la realidad local de los aspectos técnicos, financieros, políticos, sociales y ambientales.

"The success of a taxonomic group can be promoted by a key character that allows the group to interact with its environment in a different way and to potentially occupy new niches. The Pomacentridae possess a synapomorphic trait, the cerato-mandibular (c-md) ligament, which joins the hyoid bar to the inner part of the lower jaw. It has previously been shown that this ligament is a key trait in communication in damselfishes because it enables them to slam the oral jaws shut causing teeth collision and sound production. This specific behavior of mouth closing could, however, also be used for other tasks, such as feeding. Many territorial damselfishes are referred to as farmers, due to their ability to manage algal crops on which they feed. This study hypothesizes that the c-md ligament provides an advantage for grazing filamentous algae, and should thus be considered a key trait for farming behavior."

"Marine yeasts used in aquaculture disease control can also be an important protein source for improving feeding and nutrition of crustaceans. Yarrowia lipolyticca has been studied for its capacity to secrete heterologous proteins and high content of unsaturated fatty acids, beta-glucan, and mannane polymers in the cell wall. We measured in vitro digestibility of Y. lipolyticca by whiteleg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei digestive enzymes, and an in vivo assay of Y. lipolytica in feed onwhiteleg shrimp growth. We found that digestive gland enzymes of shrimp digest Y. lipolytica, based on reduced optical density of a yeast suspension. Digestion was –0.00236 ± 0.00010 OD U min–1 for intact cells and –0.00325 ± 0.00010 OD U min–1 for lysed cells. Release of reducing sugars in intact cells (5.3940 ± 0.1713 μmol h–1), and lysed cells (0.8396 ± 0.2251 μmol h–1) was measured. Digestive gland treatment significantly reduced cell viability (near 100%), relative to the control. Electron microscopy shows that the cell wall of Y. lipolytica exposed to the digestive gland enzymes was severely damaged. Shrimp diet containing Y. lipolytica resulted in significantly higher weight gain and specific growth rate of whiteleg shrimp."
